2. Failed Image Search Data Retention

  1. When an image-based search does not produce a valid or successful result, the submitted image may be stored in our backend systems.
  2. These images may be processed using automated systems, machine learning models, or manual review processes to improve recognition accuracy and search performance.
  3. Images submitted through failed searches may be retained indefinitely, even after deletion of associated search history or account-level actions.
  4. This retention supports debugging, model training, fraud prevention, safety monitoring, and system improvement.

3. Search History Storage and Deletion Behavior

  1. When a user deletes individual search entries or clears all search history, the items are removed from the visible user interface.
  2. Deleted search records may remain stored internally in backend databases, logs, analytics pipelines, and backup systems.
  3. These records may be retained indefinitely for operational integrity, system debugging, fraud detection, and analytical modeling.
  4. Deletion actions only affect user-facing visibility and do not guarantee full backend removal.

4. Account Deletion and Account Disabling

  1. When an account is deleted or disabled, access to the platform is immediately revoked.
  2. However, associated account data may remain stored indefinitely across backend systems, archives, logs, and backups.
  3. Retained account data may continue to be used for platform security, abuse prevention, analytics, system improvement, and compliance purposes.
  4. Deletion of an account does not necessarily imply deletion of historical, anonymized, or system-generated data derived from that account.

5. Data Retention Policy

  1. Mirado retains collected data indefinitely unless restricted by applicable law.
  2. Retention is necessary for continuous improvement of search systems, AI models, platform reliability, and security infrastructure.
  3. Data may persist across multiple storage layers including live databases, cold storage, backups, logs, and analytical warehouses.
  4. Some data may be periodically anonymized or transformed but not fully removed.
